Astronaut Training Experience (ATX) for (2) -  ATX immerses you in the world of today’s Astronauts – an exciting combination of hands-on training and preparation for the rigors of spaceflight. You’ll hear first-hand from veteran NASA Astronauts as you progress through an authentic day of mission simulation, exploration and real-life astronaut training. Participants must be at least 14 years of age for this experience.

Discover KSC Tour for (2) - On this exciting NASA tour, you’ll visit Kennedy Space Center’s industrial area to see NASA KSC's headquarters and get the closest possible view of the Space Shuttle launch pads. Plus, you’ll visit KSC’s Shuttle Landing Facility, get a view of the massive Vehicle Assembly Building, and NASA’s gigantic Crawler Transporters.

Lunch with an Astronaut - This session offers an up-close opportunity to share in the excitement of space exploration through the eyes and personal stories of one of NASA’s best, all while enjoying a delicious meal.  An impressive roster of astronauts have appeared since the program’s inception in 2001, among them Wally Schirra, John Glenn, Jim Lovell, Gene Cernan, Walt Cunningham, Story Musgrave and Jon McBride.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Admission for (2) - Tour Kennedy Space Center, view ten-story high rockets from all eras of space exploration in the Rocket Garden, walk through a full-size Space Shuttle mock-up, see IMAX® space films on gigantic five-story screens, and see an actual Gemini program capsule on display in Early Space Exploration.  Visit includes the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame with interactive space-flight simulators.

Included in your admission, is the new Shuttle Launch Experience, an incredible journey of vertically launching into space and orbiting Earth aboard the Space Shuttle.  Guest “crew members” strap in for this all-too-real simulation, which immerses visitors in the sights, sounds and feelings of a Space Shuttle launch, designed under the guidance of NASA and veteran Space Shuttle astronauts.

This package includes round-trip coach class service for (2) from any American Airlines destination in the 48 contiguous United States or Canada to anywhere American Airlines flies in the 48 contiguous United States or Canada, subject to availability. A minimum of three nights or a Saturday night stay is required. AAdvantage miles may be earned in accordance with the terms and conditions of the AAdvantage frequent flyer program. Miles cannot be utilized to upgrade these coach class certificates to a higher level of service. The certificates will have a one-year expiration date from the date issued and all reservations are subject to availability. The following blackout dates apply:

The purchase of this package includes a complimentary booking service. Travel must be booked a minimum of 60 days in advance. Reservations are subject to availability. Certificates cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. All packages are non-refundable. Packages cannot be resold. Suggested retail value is calculated using tariff air rates and rack room rates. Ground transportation is not included in this package unless where specified.
