Event  Preparation

Data Entry: AuctionStar^® provides you with three major databases: Donors, Items, and Guest.

These databases will allow you to easily and accurately manage these three groups of valuable information. All you have to do is carefully enter the data once and AuctionStar^® will make the data available on one of the many features such as:

Filtering: Use the customizable flags to identify specific donors or bidders that qualify for any criteria you may have, like volunteers, VIP guest, complimentary guest, etc. You can later filter reports and printing of event materials using those flags.

Reports: AuctionStar^® offers a wide variety of reports that can be very useful during the event preparation phase and after the event for analysis. You can print anything from a simple list of items to a detailed break down of event purchases. The Item Proofreading report and Bid Limiit report are very useful on determining which items need to be corrected or modified to meet your desired revenue.

Table Assignments: AuctionStar^® makes table assignments for guest a more manageable process. You will be able to easily assign and re-assign table numbers for one guest or an entire table. This feature will also allow you to browse the bidders that are seated at each table. You may also print reports that will give you a summary of the table assignments so that you know seat availability.

Ticket Payments: Keeping track of paid and unpaid tickets is maid simple through AuctionStar^®. The Ticket Payment feature allows you to enter payments for event tickets or donations from Companies, Families, or Bidders. You will be able to see the payment status of a bidder by browsing the bidders data record or you can print a detailed report that shows who paid, how much, and for whom. Other reports show a summary of the total amounts for payments made, donations received, and what is owed. AuctionStar^® makes Ticket Payments very easy to handle.

Packaging Items: AuctionStar^® offers an effective and easy way to package items together. It's as easy as creating a package and adding items to it. Later, you can remove or add more items to the package or dissolve the package completely.

Solicitation Letters: Donor information can be used to generate solicitation letters. AuctionStar^® will provide previous year's event data.
